On Friday December 14, 2018, Robert C. Mallgraf was laid to rest in the Willow Hill Cemetery on Route 25. In his honor a color guard of firefighters in 'turn-out gear' raised the flag across Route 25 ahead of the procession. Bob Mallgraf's life was exemplified by service. He was a WW ll Navy veteran, d SFD member since 1953 providing 65 years of service to the Southold community. Past and current SFD members salute Bob on his final day as a member of the Southold community and Fire Department.
