On Thursday, July 18th, many SFD members responded to Station Two to participate in a Suffolk County sanctioned Heavy Rescue / Vehicle Extrication exercise. This challenging evolution involved nine victims and one dog in various states of entanglement in and under a mini school bus and two automobiles, including one car that was on fire. April Sunday Morning House Fire

At 0334 hours Southold Fire Department was alerted for a Signal 13 on Goose Creek Lane Extension. First arriving chiefs confirmed a 13/35 and called for assistance from the Cutchogue and Greenport fire departments to the scene.
