Signal 14 Makes a House Call

At 0705 on November 26th, Southold Fire Department was dispatched for a Signal 14 at SFD Station 2 on Baywater Avenue where a thoughtful motorist had pulled into the parking lot after noticing smoke coming from the passenger's side dashboard of the vehicle. Dry chemical extinguishers made quick work of the fire with a booster line and leaf blower being employed for final clean-up. All Southold units under the direction of 1st Assistant Killian.
