Shortly before 6PM on Wednesday, November 6, Southold Fire Department was dispatched to an MVA at Route 25 and Indian Neck Lane. Responding units found a westbound vehicle that had collided with the rear of an irrigation company's compressor trailer that was attempting a turn. The male driver and sole occupant of the car was stabilized at the scene and transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The other driver refused medical attention. Southold units remained on scene to assist with removal of the damaged vehicle and clean-up of spilled fuel.
