Lawnmower fire |

| At 9:12 this morning Southold Fire Department responded to a lawnmower fire. Upon arrival the mower was fully involved. Owner stated that the fuel line caught on a tree. The tree ripped it off the fuel line off the carb. spewing gas on the hot exhaust which quickly turned into a fire. The fire was quickly put out by the crew of 8-4-4. Southold responded with a pumper 8-4-4, ambulance 8-4-16, fire police van 8-4-11.
