| In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 15th, Southold Fire Department was dispatched to an MVA in the vicinity of Peconic Lane and Route 25. Arriving units found a car proceeding easterly on Route 25 had veered off the road hitting a lamp post, a tree and the side of a building, before finally coming to rest on its right side. The sole female occupant who was within the vehicle and restrained by her three point belt self-extricated through the sunroof and was transported to ELIH for evaluation.
