Hope for the Warriors - Orient Point to Ground Zero Run

On the morning of Saturday, May 26, Hope for the Warriors staged a relay run from Orient Point to Ground Zero. Starting earlier in the morning, runners passed through Southold at approximately 1100 hours on Route 48 where they were honored by the American Flag hoisted jointly by members of the Southold and Mattituck Fire Departments. Proceeding westerly along Route 48 and Route 25, participants plan to keep running throughout the night so as to arrive at Ground Zero by 0900 on Sunday, May 27.
