| The Southold Water Rescue Team ran a cold water recovery scenario this Saturday morning. The team lead by Captain Charlie Turner braved 25 mph wind guests to practice. They geared up in the Mustang survival suits and launched a 12 foot inflatable boat from their custom built 1969 Jeep Dive Truck. Team member Dave Surozenski checked all the gear to insure proper function before heading out. The Southold bay had about 2 foot chop but the inflatable driven by team member Paul Reinckens navigated the water with out haste. It was another successful training session for the Southold Water Rescue team. |
