On Tuesday, 10/21, Southold was dispatched to "Gas Truck Fell Into A Sink Hole" on Route 48. Sure enough, it had. SFD checked for product leakage and set up protective hose line while waiting for Rapid Recovery response. Excellent hoisting by Rapid Recovery removed truck from sink hole and everyone was on their way. No injuries, no property damage except for the hole in the parking lot. Good job done by all under direction by Chiefs Surozenski and Damianos.
