| Sunday, August 24, favored us with a beautiful morning and the opportunity for water rescue training with Southold, Greenport, East Marion and Southold Police participating. The location was Truman's Beach which gave Southold a chance to venture into Long Island Sound with our new boat. Transit time from Southold to the Coffee Pot was 30 minutes with an additional 10 minutes taken to reach the Incident Location. No dummies were harmed during the exercise and all were successfully recovered by the several rescue teams. Photos by Chief Dave and EJB. |
