Jack Goscinski, Eagle Scout member of Boy Scout Troop 6, built and provided another scale building which our training officers, Chief David Surozenski and John Rumpler burned in an extremely effective demonstration of fire behavior as it relates to airflow passing through a structure. By opening different areas of the building, 'doors and windows' for instance, David and JR were able to demonstrate the importance of coordinated attacks by firefighters with timely breeches of openings and firehoses at the ready. Valuable lessons were learned by all in attendance which included Boy Scout Troop 6, family members and both rookie and seasoned firefighters.
