The 2022 Southold Fire Department Installation Dinner was held on April 10th 2022. Chris Manfredi emceed the event and introduced the new officers for 2022-24, Chief Carlisle E. Cochran (30), 1st Assistant Chief David S. Surozenski (31) and 2nd Assistant Chief Pindar Damianos (32). Several Southold dignitaries made speeches extolling the virtues of SFD which were well received. Ex-Chief Bill Witzke swore in the new chiefs and they were presented with their gold badges. Introduction of officers ensued and awards were presented to Fred Lee, EMT of the Year, Mike Franke, Chief Driver of the Year and Firefighter of the Year was awarded to J.R. Rumpler. Congratulations are in order for our new officers and award winners!
