On Sunday, November 21, 2021, Southold's Water Rescue Team conducted a drill at Town Beach. The purpose of the drill was to optimize the weight needed by each diver while clad in their cold water equipment. Lessons were learned and all were back at HQ by 1000, except for the starfish who was returned to his native habitat after posing for numerous photographs.
