The 3rd annual SFD Christmas Parade was a rousing community success. Rt 25 from Oaklawn Ave to the Firehouse was lined with onlookers anxious to see the firetruck parade and they were not disappointed. Fabulously decorated by SFD Volunteers with lights, snowmen, reindeer and a fantastic snow machine accompanied by Mr & Mrs Santa, cute elves and Christmas music the parade was a delightful sight. We're so happy Santa and his helpers found the time to be with us.

Once at Department HQ, everyone ambled upstairs to enjoy hot cocoa, warm pretzels, brownies and cookies with great gusto. The meeting room was filled with children of all ages waiting to visit with Santa and everyone got their chance to share well wishes, holiday greetings and Christmas cheer.

Thanks to the Cutchogue FD Fire Police volunteers who helped with traffic control.

During this time of celebration our hearts go out to those members and their families unable to be with us this year as we pray for speedy recoveries. Please join us in those prayers during this difficult time.
