At 1345 hours on Friday, September 6, Southold FD was dispatched to a single vehicle "car vs. pole" at Main Bayview Road near Baywater Avenue. Responding members discovered a vehicle with four occupants had failed to negotiate a curve and had allided with a utility pole. All four were taken to SBUH-ELIH for observation by Southold Rescue, Strangely, a pole in the same location had been destroyed in an MVA several months ago and had only recently been replaced by PSEG.
