At 0135 hours on Sunday, June 17, Southold Fire Department was dispatched for a Signal 13/35 first responding Chief Goldsmith discovered a trailered jet ski afire next to a garage attached to a house. Unit 8-4-2 initially deployed a single 1 3/4" hand line which was supplemented with a 1 3/4" foam line for final extinguishment. Unit 8-4-3 laid a 3" supply line from a nearby hydrant to support the operation. No injuries were reported and all units were returned to quarters.
