Looking for a way to fill two drab Tuesday evenings and a Saturday morning in September? Southold FD will be hosting the Fire Academy's EVOC on September 6 and 13 (Tuesdays) at Station One with a driving day at Yaphank on September 17 (Saturday). Whether you are an experienced driver who wants to perfect his skills or a new member seeking qualification on SFD apparatus, this course is highly recommended. Please sign up quickly as seats are limited and participation will be offered to other 8th Division department members. Don't be like my grandmother who never took EVOC - you can see what happened to her vehicle.
