At 1740 on 08/10/15 Southold Fire Department was dispatched to a female exposure victim at Founders Landing. Arriving units discovered a wet 20 y/o who had self-extricated from a vehicle that was partially submerged approximately 50 feet from the end of the launching ramp. SFD diver Bob Haase entered the water to assure that no one else was in the vehicle and remained on scene to attach the needed recovery equipment. The driver was transported by Southold ambulance to ELIH for observation.
