May 17th. was the Heart Association 5k run. Southold Fire Department being the American Heart Associations East End official training center participated in the event with runners from our department.

Members participating were Karen & Bill Byrnes, Vickey Berry, Mike Gosinski, Chris Pickerell, Barry Standish, Dave Surozenski & John Boliver.

Before the event the Members of Southold Fire Department were teaching hands only CPR to the public.

Anyone interested in learning CPR should call FD we host classes at least 4 times a year. Members who are instructors also teach on their own and can provide you with a class.
