Noon on Saturday, March 28th, 34 degrees with a light snow/rain mix and time for Southold's annual Polar Bear Plunge at Founders' Landing. SFD attended with water rescue and ambulance personnel to assure the safety of all the plungers. Record times were set by all for entry and exit from the frigid water.
