Immediately after completion of a multi-car MVA on Route 48 in Peconic, SFD was dispatched for a Signal 16, female CVA, 20 Charlie 5, in Bayview. Examination of the patient indicated that transport to Stony Brook University Hospital was warranted and a call was made to the SCPD for a Medevac helicopter to respond to SFD's Station 2. Upon arrival of the helicopter the patient was transferred to SUSB paramedic care for the aerial transport.
